Women in Permaculture- Ghana Permaculture Institute

The past week has been a very joyous and educative week for the Ghana Permaculture Institute Women's wing. Forty-five (45) women in total participated in our GPI/SONED/BMZ project on "Improving the Economic Well-Being of Peasant Farmers in the Permaculture Value Chain through the Expansion of the GPI Agribusiness Center".

During our permaculture training, we had evening sessions where we set fire in the night to shared stories, play, and also dance to relieve and refresh ourselves. We had a few debates/discussions on "what men can do women can do better and best" and also "Why women should be more involved in permaculture activities" We also watch permaculture videos. It was lovely to see these women, some over 60 years participate and dance in the evenings.

During our training sessions, we allow women to discuss their learning journeys and what they plan to implement after the training. Follow our regular updates for more implementation pictures and videos.

BE A PART, TO EMPOWER MORE WOMEN IN THE PERMACULTURE MOVEMENT IN GHANA!!
