At the Ghana Permaculture Institute, we offer varieties of short courses for all interested persons. Participants will receive practical training in rabbit production from housing setup to breeding, feeding, and marketing for 5 DAYS. The training will cover selection of suitable rabbit breeds, construction of proper housing systems, and preparation of a hygienic rearing environment. Participants will learn feeding and nutrition management, breeding techniques, care of kits, and routine health management including disease prevention and sanitation. The program will also address recordkeeping, growth monitoring, and humane harvesting practices. In addition, participants will be introduced to basic processing, value addition, and marketing opportunities in rabbit farming. By the end of the training, participants will gain the skills needed to establish and manage a sustainable and profitable rabbit production enterprise. The program concludes with practical assessments and certification upon successful participation and demonstration of skills. We look forward to training you!
