At the Ghana Permaculture Institute, we offer varieties of short courses for all interested persons. Participants will receive hands-on training in practical mushroom production from start to finish for 5 DAYS. During the training, you will learn how to prepare and sterilize substrates, inoculate materials with mushroom spawn, and properly manage the growing environment. You will be guided through planting, daily care practices such as watering, humidity and temperature control, as well as disease and contamination prevention. The training will also cover correct harvesting techniques, packaging, storage, and post-harvest management, including reuse and sanitation of materials. By the end of the training, participants will have the skills needed to start and manage a small- to medium-scale mushroom production enterprise. The program concludes with practical assessments and certification upon successful participation and demonstration of skills. We look forward to training you!
